我们的健康生活

生活很甜 健康连连

如果把IB课程的学习比喻为一次神奇探险之旅的话,那么幼儿园阶段的PYP课程就是一次探究初体验,不同的探究主题吸引着孩子们迈开前进的脚步,踏入智慧的城堡中尽情探索。为了更好地培养具有国际视野、培养勤学好问、知识渊博、富有爱心并且理解和尊重文化多元性的世界小公民,我们在本学期初,大班就开展了“我们是谁”这个单元,对“健康生活”这一主题,展开了深入的研究。   

If we compare the study of IB to a magical adventure, then the PYP course at the kindergarten stage is the initial exploration experience. Different exploration themes attract children to step forward and explore the plethora of knowledge and wisdom. In order to cultivate global citizens with international vision, who are inquisitive, knowledgeable, caring and understand and respect cultural diversity, we started the "Who are we" unit at the beginning of this semester. In-depth research has been carried out on the theme of "healthy life".

生活方式的选择,作为第一条探究线索给我们带来了很多思考。我们希望把自己热爱的运动方式介绍给其他的伙伴,我们自信的叙述着自己热爱这项运动的原因以及我们在运动中得到的收获。并从活动中感受到一种责任,一种积极的生活态度。

In the first line of inquiry we investigated Lifestyle Choices, making us think and reflect on our own lives. We introduced our favourite sports to our classmates, and we confidently shared the reasons why we loved these sports and the physical benefits we get from them. These activities allowed students to understand their responsibilities and inspired a positive attitude towards life.

在单元开展之初,我们达成了一个共识,那就是对自己,对家人,对朋友的关爱就从现在开始。我们讨论了不同食物会带给身体不同的营养,比如:水果富含维生素,鸡蛋、肉类和牛奶为身体运送了大量的蛋白质,一起分析了饮食均衡的重要性,制作了一个食物金字塔。

At the beginning of the unit, we reached a consensus, which is to care for ourselves, family, and friends from now on. We discussed that different foods would bring different nutrients to the body, such as: fruits are rich in vitamins. Eggs, meat and milk provide a large amount of protein for the body and we discussed the importance of a balanced diet,and made a food pyramid.

2.Finding out发现


我的健康餐盘,通过分类、配对等闪卡游戏,我们对于选择有了一定的了解并尝试着自己配置一份健康大餐,面对许多可以选择的食物:牛奶、蔬菜、水果、甜点等能够做出正确健康的选择,愿意在同伴面前分享自己的健康餐盘。

What’s on my plate?Through classification, matching and other flash card activities, we developed a strong understanding of the ‘choices’ we make, and we used this knowledge to design our own healthy meals. When presented with many options, such as: milk, vegetables, fruits and desserts, we showed we were able to make correct and healthy choices, and are excited to share our healthy plates with our partners.

3.Sorting Out梳理

有趣的彩虹食物,在了解了各种水果和蔬菜对人体的有益之处后,我们尝试自己制作一个食物彩虹。选择喜欢的颜色和蔬果设计并且剪下来,并且和同伴们分享:这种蔬果如何让身体变得健康?它外表的颜色代表了什么?

After learning about the health benefits of various fruits and vegetables, we tried to make our own food rainbow. We chose our favorite colors and designs, cut them out, and shared them with our partners. We thought of the questions: ‘How does this produce improve your health?’and ‘What does its outside color represent?’

“小小健身馆”开馆啦,

我们邀请擅长运动的家长们来参助到我们的活动中来,

活动前我们讨论了最喜欢的体育运动。

整个活动中,孩子们制定了自己的运动计划,

然后按顺序体验了不动的运动项目,

如:篮球、高尔夫、毽子、跑步、瑜伽。

活动结束后讨论自己最喜欢的运动,

主动说出自己的感受。

整个活动体现了学习者特征中的坚持原则。

The“Little Gym" is open. 

We invited parents who are enjoy different sports to

 participate in our activities. 

Before the activities we discussed our 

favourite sports in the classroom. 

During the activity,

 children made their own sports plans, 

and thenexperienced different sports such as: 

basketball, golf,shuttlecock,

running and yoga.

 After the activity, students discussed 

their favorite sports and took the 

initiative to express their feelings.

 The process embodied the principle of 

persistence in the learner profile.


4. Going Further延伸

我们整合了各方面都资源,开设了一个养生馆,调查了解自己和家人的生活习惯,并设计了健康的一日作息、菜谱,活动中,幼儿充分参与在实践活动中获得体验!灵活的创设情境,也让幼儿在每一次的分享中尝试着自己解决问题!

During this unit we integrated many different resources: We opened a health center, investigated and understood the daily habits of ourselves and our family members, and designed healthy daily routines and recipes. During the activities, children fully participated in practical activities that allowed them to gain more knowledge and experience! The flexible creation of situations allowed the children to try to solve problems by themselves in every activity!

5.Reflection反思

生活方式影响人们的身心健康。日常的生活方式有多种,健康的或者不健康的。结合本单元探究线索,我们从自身卫生习惯说起,用“发霉的面包”实验导入,让孩子们通过时间的变化,做出最直观的观察与发现,从而养成勤洗手、讲卫生的好习惯。

Lifestyles affect people's physical and mental health. There are many different lifestyles, healthy or unhealthy. Combining with the inquiries in this unit, we started with our own hygiene habits and used the "moldy bread" experiment as a provocation to think about the effects of not having good hygiene. The children made the most intuitive observations and discoveries through the changes of the bread over a period of time. This developed a good practice of washing hands frequently and paying attention to hygiene habits.

在进一步讨论了刷牙、洗手、运动等生活习惯之后,我们共同反思了自己的生活方式,并制作了“健康生活”打卡记录,用图表、照片、视频的方式记录着自己一点一滴的进步。孩子们在坚持原则的过程中,慢慢的体会良好生活习惯,对我们生活产生的影响!

After further discussing living habits such as brushing teeth, washing hands, and exercising, we collectively reflected on our own lifestyles. We made a "healthy life" check-in record using charts, photos, and videos to record our progress daily. In the process of adhering to the principles, children slowly experienced the impact of healthy living habits on our lives!

6.Action行动


我们根据探究线索二、三:不同选择对身体和心理健康的影响。我们邀请了校保健医生来和我们分享健康食品的营养;还将探究学习的内容延伸到我们的区域,让我们快快行动起来,做个健康小达人。

 We investigated the 2nd and 3rd lines of inquiry: the impact of different choices on physical and mental health. We invited school health doctors to share the nutritional benefits of eating healthy foods; we also extended the content of inquiry and learning to our own classrooms and shared spaces around the school. Let's act quickly and be a healthy little people.

健康生活主题单元外出实践”,我们走进社区的商业街,去购买自己认为健康的食品,或者可以让自己开心的物品。根据探究路径三:建立良好的生活方式,帮助孩子理解概念“责任”。我们有责任让自己的身体保持健康。

The unit theme for healthy living was "putting into practice". We went to the commercial street of our community to buy food that we thought was healthy or items that would make us feel happy! 

This activity related to the third and fourth lines of inquiry, helping children to establish a healthy lifestyle and understand the concept of "responsibility".

通过本单元探究活动的有序开展,孩子们逐渐具备了研究技能和自我管理技能。“我们是谁”这是对个人、身体、心智、社交和精神健康的探究;对各种人际关系,包括家庭、朋友、社区和文化的探究;对权利与责任的探究、对作为人的意义的探究。孩子们在幼儿园的时光总是快乐而短暂哒!相信小朋友们接下来会有更棒的表现,让我们大家一起期待吧!

Through the orderly development of inquiry activities duringthis unit, the children have gradually built on their research skills and self-management skills. 

"Who we are" An inquiry into the nature of the self; beliefs and values; personal, physical, mental, social and spiritual health; human relationships including families, friends, communities, and cultures; rights and responsibilities; what it means to be human. 

The children's time in kindergarten is alwaysshort lived and full of joy! 

We believe that our children will continue to improve, and we look forward to watching them grow and flourish!
